Abp Chartered Architects achieved quality assurance accreditation under Quality Management Scheme (QMS, BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000) in 2003.

Quality assurance accreditation uses internal and external auditing procedures to ensure that the services offered are meeting with agreed standards of service that are offered to all clients.  This includes ensuring that all projects have a clearly defined brief and schedule of services, that must be confirmed in a written contract that is to be signed by the client and the architect, prior to any services being undertaken.  

Abp Chartered Architects prefers to take all projects from their initial conceptual design stages to completion on site, although the practice does on occasions undertake partial services, normally for the design stages, with the client taking on the responsibility for the site operations and administration of the building contract.
